Like you I have had visits that I didn’t realise until listening and being positive that our loved ones are here with us in spirit. Having known Julie, such a lovely lady who will always be in our hearts and thoughts, has been guiding you into your new life doesn’t surprise us. She was a lady who cared for everyone in life, once again, we wish you all the love and happiness in your new life. Really refreshing and important that you’re talking so openly and honestly about death, the thought process/beliefs about death, grief and guilt. Death is part of life but most people seem so uncomfortable/ scared to discuss it. Sharing your experience of losing your beloved wife, although extremely sad and emotive, is ‘normalising’ death and grief, helping to remove the ‘taboo’. Sharing your experiences and how you found ways to cope highlights there is no shame attached to grief or depression. I think listeners will be able to identify with your story/thoughts/feelings and it may give them hope they can get through and manage their grief. Good to hear you are now enjoying life to the full.

Lee said it all, l am amazed phil opened up to help everyone his voice is so calming l feel he should be doing audio tapes, what more can l add. Wonderful listening to it all so sorry it’s ended. A very emotive, honest, thought provoking and above all a positive outlook on not only bereavement but life. Life is never plain sailing and Phil’s journey is a prime example of this. Full of wisdom, honesty and what rises above everything for me is how genuine the author comes across and I believe each and everyone of us will resonate with him in one aspect or another even if we haven’t shared the same journey. The full podcast evokes thoughts and feelings in our own lives, it is beautifully and eloquently narrated throughout with a calming and tranquil nature even in the face of adversity.
